MOPS is nationally known as Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is for expecting moms and for moms with children ages birth through kindergarten. The 2011-2012 MOPS year theme is “MomSense = Mom’s Intuition + Common Sense.” The group is looking forward to speakers, crafts, and fun events. If you are pregnant or have a preschooler and are looking for a night out and a chance to connect with other moms, MOPS is for you! The MOPS meeting coincides with the CCV MOMS Group, which gives you the opportunity to connect with mothers of preschoolers as well as mothers of elementary aged children. The annual MOPS membership fee of $68.95 covers all September - June meeting expenses and childcare. For the months of July and August, social meetings will be planned. The CCV MOMS Group is for all moms with children in elementary school. If you have graduated from MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) because your children are in first grade or older, the CCV MOMS Group is for you! This group is for moms looking for a night out with other moms, an opportunity to hear relevant speakers, and a chance to do fun crafts. The CCV MOMS Group coincides with the monthly MOPS meeting. The annual MOMS membership fee of $45.00 covers meeting expenses, activities, and childcare for the September - June meetings. For the months of July and August, social events will be planned. The MOTS group is for moms with teens, but the group will be about much more than parenting. Group members will share the commonality of current place in life, but will focus on a variety of studies that will enhance their walk with God as strong, faithful women. Beginning in January the group will discuss Sheila Walsh's book, The Shelter of God's Promises. Group members will read assigned chapters and come prepared to discuss. This study will provide the guidance to help members grow in their daily confidence, joy, and peace. The group will also have a few social events.

This group will focus on studying the General Epistles, which are the letters in the New Testament written by someone other than Paul. The group is currently studying 1 John. The group also incorporates the optional opportunity to practice selected spiritual disciplines such as memorization, journaling, and Bible study tools into each meeting.  The weeks that the group doesn't have an official meeting, a social activity is often planned.

This women's group does various biblical studies and enjoys thoughtful, honest discussions. Group members enjoy growing in their relationships with God and each other. In January, the group will be studying the series Heaven by Randy Alcorn. New members are always welcome!

This group is for women who find themselves pulled in a ton of different directions and searching for ways to be less overwhelmed, less exhausted, and less spiritually empty. The group will study Colossians to discover that Jesus provides what women need to handle these struggles. Bring a Bible and be ready to read, talk, and learn how Jesus will transform our lives.

This group is for all moms in the community who have preschool aged children. After you drop your child off at preschool, join this group to connect with other women for some adult conversation. The group will read and discuss parenting books. The is currently reading Bringing up Boys or Bringing up Girls by Dr. James Dobson. Group members will read a few chapters of the assigned book at home between the group meetings and then come together to discuss the parenting concerns raised and exchange ideas that work.
