March 2015 Servefest

This year's first Servefest is coming March 15th - 21st. Join others from CCV and go into the community to help local organizations and the people they serve.

We’re working to add more projects to this upcoming Servefest in March. If you know of other community organizations that CCV can help, let us know! Leaders for projects are needed as well.

Have questions, information about projects, or you’d like to lead, contact Terri Stone at 610.792.0777 ext. 207 or terri@moviechurch.com.

Birthday Giving Project: 1:00 – 3:00 PM
CCV’s MomsConnect Group is hosting this event to assist Family to Family a national organization that supports impoverished families in many ways, one of which is helping give children, whose birthdays go uncelebrated, the joy of a birthday celebration. Families don’t have enough money for parties and gifts, much less décor and a cake. At the MomsConnect event, help package “birthdays in a box” to bring a celebration to these children. This is a great project for moms and kids (4 years and older). Please bring items to pack in the birthday boxes: gently used books, cake mixes, cans of frosting, candles, empty goody bags, goody bag items, small toys like crayons, puzzles (under $10) wrapping paper, tape, ribbon, and shoebox-size boxes.
