RIOT
WHAT IS RIOT? Riot is a youth group where teens can come together and JUST BE THEMSELVES. Navigating dating, dealing with parents, friendships, jobs, school, sports and more is a tough job. We challenge students to ask how faith fits in to all of that. We create an environment that is comfortable for someone who has never been to church as well as someone who has had God in their life for a long time.
WHY IS IT CALLED RIOT? I know people have lots of negative thoughts they think of when they hear the word RIOT. But there is lots of good as well. People RIOT when they have a common belief in something important to them. A passion that brings people together to stand for or against something. Every week at RIOT, we try to create an atmosphere where teens can come together for a cause much greater than themselves.
WHO IS IT FOR? Anyone who is currently in high school (grades 9th-12th)
WHEN? Our regular program, RIOT, is every Sunday at 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
WHERE? The lower level of the children’s building, called "The Warehouse."
