Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

People come to the church searching for connection, hope, guidance, healing and spiritual growth. At some point in our lives, we all experience challenging circumstances, transitions, relational pain and difficult seasons of life.

No one should ever struggle alone or wonder where to turn in a time of need. We believe the best place to find help is the church where people are caring for, supporting and encouraging one another.

Christ's Church of the Valley offers many avenues of help—no matter how big or small your need. We want to hear your story and provide you with next steps for whatever circumstance you’re facing or whatever need you have.

Terri Stone, Pastor of Pastoral Care, leads the Pastoral Care Ministry at CCV. She and her team are here to answer your spiritual questions, help you figure out your next step at CCV, pray with you and offer guidance in situations that may require assistance from outside organizations such as professional counseling or social service agencies. In addition, she can help plan a funeral or wedding and coordinate hospital visits.

Professional Counseling Services
Christ's Church of the Valley is partnered with Life Counseling Services and Hope and Grace Christian Counseling. Life Counseling's offices are located throughout the Philadelphia metro area. Their skilled staff can help guide you through almost any situation. Contact Life Counseling Services at 800.882.2799 or www.lifecounseling.org. Two nights per week, Hope and Grace Christian Counseling provides counseling services at Christ's Church of the Valley's offices. To make an appointment with a Hope counselor, call 610.644.6464 and ask for Hope and Grace Christian Counseling intake.

Hospital Visitation
If you would like a pastoral staff member to visit you or a family member in the hospital, please contact Terri Stone with the details. She will make arrangements for a staff member to make the hospital visit.

Funerals and Memorial Services
These are times for remembering, honoring and celebrating loved ones who have passed away. Our pastoral staff is here to assist families during these difficult times by offering support, comfort and help designing a meaningful funeral or memorial service. These services can be held in one of CCV's buildings or at another location.

Weddings
At CCV we believe a person's wedding is one of the most important spiritual moments in their life. Therefore, we take our potential involvement in your wonderful occasion quite seriously. Our goal is not only to help you have a memorable wedding day, but to help prepare you and your future spouse to build a successful, lifelong partnership. While a lifelong, loving marriage partnership doesn’t come easily, we believe that with Jesus’ help it is within everyone’s reach. We’re excited about how God can work in your relationship over the upcoming months!

Weddings are performed by members of our ministry staff. To make a request, please review the documents below which provide a clear understanding of what the wedding process will look like from start to finish.

Once you've read through the documents, please complete the Request Form and email, fax or mail the form to Christ's Church of the Valley, Attn: Terri Stone, 1560 Yeager Road, Royersford, PA 19468. After the form has been received, Terri will contact you to confirm your wedding date and time and to let you know which ministry staff member will perform your ceremony.
