2011 Giving Statements

This year Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) is trying something different. As part of ongoing cost reduction efforts and the desire to be more environmentally responsible, CCV will no longer print and mail giving statements to givers.

Instead, CCV has provided a user friendly system called MyCCV that, once a giver is logged in, provides them with the ability to create a giving statement for any specified period. It is CCV’s desire to provide all givers with easy access to their giving records, while being both fiscally and environmentally responsible. Plus, access to MyCCV provides the giver with the ability to give online and, if desired, setup "repeating" giving from a checking account or credit/debit card.

Accessing Your 2011 Giving Statement

To access your 2011 Giving Statement, click HERE and then click the 'Sign Up' link right under the login box on the MyCCV login page. You will receive an e-mail with a user name and password shortly after you sign up. Once you receive your user name and password, return to the login page (HERE) and login.

If you already have a MyCCV account there’s no need to sign up again. Click HERE and login using your user name and password. Once you’re logged in, you will see a “Welcome to MyCCV” message. On the right side of the page, right under your first name click on the 'My Profile' link taking you to your profile page. Once there, click on the 'Financial' tab and then the 'Giving Statement' link.

Configuring Your Giving Statement

Type: Once you’ve clicked the Giving Statement link, you’ll see a small window with a few options for configuration of your statement. Under 'Type' use the pull-down menu to select either 'Family' or 'Individual.' In most cases the Family option will be the correct choice.

Date Range: You will then have to select the 'Date Range.' You can use the Quick Date Range option to select 'Last Year' from the pull-down menu or you can just enter January 1st through December 31st of 2011.

Tax Deductable: You will then need to use another pull-down menu to select 'Deductable' to have the statement only include tax deductable contributions. This is important. If you paid for an event or paid the church anything during the year other than your tithes and offerings, those payments are not tax deductable, so you do not want them to show on the statement.

Include Pledge Information: Lastly, leave the check box at the bottom (Include Pledge Information) unchecked.

Create: Now, click the 'Create' link at the bottom right of the box to create your 2011 giving statement. Once you have it on the screen, you may save it and/or print it for your records.

It’s that simple! If you have any questions about creating your 2011 giving statement, please contact Kevin Stone, Executive Pastor, at kevin@moviechurch.com or 610.792.0777 ext. 208.

Missing Gifts

If your statement is missing giving from early in the year (January through May), you will be receiving another statement attached to an e-mail from Kevin Stone, Executive Pastor. This additional statement contains giving that was entered in the old giving system CCV had in place prior to changing over to MyCCV as of June 1, 2011.

If for some reason, you do not receive a statement from the old system and you feel you should, again please contact Kevin Stone, Executive Pastor, at kevin@moviechurch.com or 610.792.0777 ext. 208.
