Foundations

Foundations is the membership class at Christ’s Church of the Valley which teaches people how to put what we call “The 5 G’s” into practice.

 What? Foundations is a five-week class focusing on the five key areas of the Christian life - Grace, Growth, Groups, Gifts, and Giving.
 Who? Everyone at CCV is invited to attend Foundations! If you’re looking to learn more about how to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus or if you want to become a member of CCV, sign up for Foundations.
 When? Foundations Classes will be offered throughout the year on a wide variety of days and at various times.
 Where? Foundations Classes will be hosted in various local homes and at CCV.
 Why? Attending Foundations will help you put “the 5 G’s” into practice, get connected with others, and become a member of Christ’s Church of the Valley.

Couponing 101 is a basic introduction into using coupons efficiently to lower your monthly out of pocket costs at grocery stores and drug stores. The class will discuss the proper use of coupons and which websites to read to gather information to create weekly shopping lists. The class will also review the current coupon policies at local stores, how to shop at them, and how to get the most for your hard earned money.

This class is a basic self-defense class focusing on break away techniques, good decision making, and proper striking locations. The class will help you gain confidence and will teach bullying prevention. This is a great class for the entire family.
