What kind of church is Christ’s Church of the Valley?
Christ’s Church of the Valley is a non-denominational, independent Christian church. This means there’s no headquarters or denominational office where leaders lead the church from the outside. CCV is led by leaders from within the church. Nationally, there are over 6,000 churches similar to CCV with approximately 1.5 million members.
When I attend for the first time, where do I go?
When you arrive on Sunday morning, CCV’s parking attendants will help you park in one of three lots. The first building you approach is the main building where adult services are held.
The second building (the one that looks like a movie theater) is our children’s building.
When the adult service is over, please take a few minutes and stop by Connection Central in the lobby of the main building. Meet our welcome team, ask questions, and receive the gift we have for you.
I have kids…
Birth – 5th Grade
If you have kids and their ages range from birth to fifth grade, please stop by the children’s building first. Our Welcome Team is there to assist as you check your children into their classes. Valley Kids, CCV’s children’s ministry, offers classes at the same times as adult services. Learn more about Valley Kids HERE.
Please Note: Children five years old and younger are not allowed in adult services. We encourage you to take your child to our Valley Kids classes where their experience will be fun and exciting. If you choose not to take your children to Valley Kids, you’re welcome to watch the service with your child from the parent room (located adjacent to the lobby near the restrooms) or in our cafe.
six78 – Middle School Ministry
On Sunday mornings CCV has services for middle school students called “Impact.” Impact meets during the 11:00 AM worship service and is for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. six78 meets in the basement level of the children’s building we affectionately call “The Warehouse.” To get there take the outside steps on the right side of the building and follow the signs. six78 also has services every Wednesday night from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the main building. Find out more about six78 HERE.
HSM – High School Ministry
On Sunday nights CCV has services for high school students called “HSM.” HSM meets from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the main building. In addition, HSM has a full schedule of events, camps, and cross-cultural mission trips that bring students closer to God and one another. Find out more about HSM HERE.
I don’t have kids…
For those arriving without kids, please join us in the lobby of the main building before the service begins. Enjoy a cup of coffee and some baked goods before the service begins.
What should I wear?
Wear what you’ll be comfortable wearing. Dress is relaxed and casual, and that means everybody, from our staff and volunteers to those attending services.
